Youth Sessions
We hold free youth sessions in our indoor skatepark at the University of Chicago campus every Sunday, 12-2PM, from January 11 - March 1.
Our sessions are best suited for youth ages 7-12 just starting out in skateboarding.
Helmets and wrist guards are required. We will have skateboards, helmets, wrist guards, knee pads, and elbow pads available to borrow for free.
In order to participate in our youth sessions, you must book a session and fill out our Youth Participation Registration Form.

Our youth sessions are designed for children ages 7–12 who are new to skateboarding or have had limited opportunities to skate. These sessions focus on learning the basics in a supportive, structured environment.
If your child already has significant skateboarding experience—such as ollies, shuv-its, or skating ramps independently—they may find the sessions too introductory. These are guided beginner sessions, not open skate time.
Our goal is to create a welcoming first experience for youth who are just getting started.

After you book a session, you’ll receive a confirmation email with all the details, including the location of our indoor skatepark. You must book a session and fill out our Youth Participation Registration Form to participate, no exceptions!

We cap our youth sessions at 10 participants, and there will be at least three experienced coaches at each session.
